ACTING 5-8 YEARS OLD

In the acting course for children aged 5-8, children work on their acting skills together with the two teachers Evka Sakalová and Jakub Vajda.  In the classes, they learn through various creative exercises to work with their voices, bodies and emotions. They learn how to perceive space, work with attention cycles, employ the senses, and portray different animals, colours or characters from the story. As a director, Jakub knows that he gets the best performances from actors when they are relaxed, so a first activity in the form of a conversation or breathing exercise cannot be amiss. Next comes the work on the text, where voice and articulation are most important. After that comes the movement linked to the already prepared text and the final aspect is to take these two already linked components and guide the actor to perform what has been learned as naturally as possible. Working with imagination cannot be left out. Of course, each lesson is a different situation and approach. The acting course is aimed at all children aged 5-8 and takes place every Tuesday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
