Cool Kids is a phrase that perfectly describes the hip-hop dance component of our RDS Art Group. We love to have among us anyone who loves street dance styles. Welcomed are all children from the age of 6 to those who still feel like children or have already children of their. Our top instructors will bring a lot of energy into your lessons and teach you to perceive dance in all its aspects.

In words of group's manager and choreographer Sofka Ravasová: "At Souljam we want everyone to find their own space, so openness to dance styles is key for us." That's why you will learn street-dance styles like hip hop, house dance, popping or locking in our courses. Waacking, vogue or dancehall only add variety to your training. In this way, the instructors enrich your movement vocabulary and your creativity, which you will then apply in freestyle but also in choreography.
We train 3 times a week and always have one freestyle training where we work on your personality development.
We take our group with the children and perform at various events. For example, we danced for Majk Spirit or Dominika Mirgová, opened the green roof of the Nivy bus station in Bratislava or even danced at Jany Landl's benefit workout.
At the Riverpark Dance School we also organized the RDS Battle, where you, as a dancer, get out of your comfort zone and try what it's like to go solo. Every year we perform on stage together with other members of the RDS Art Group in the Summer and Christmas shows.
Bringing the Slovak Dance Theatre and the Musical Academy under one roof opens up new possibilities in connection with the theatre and thus supports our main goal – to lead children and dancers in all artistic directions.

You won't get bored here, even after trainings we keep going – our dance group is a community. This is exactly why we organise workshops and battles with domestic and foreign dancers. In addition, our dancers automatically have free entry to all open classes offered by the Riverpark Dance School.
At the end of every summer we heat up the atmosphere in Stupava at SOULJAM Hip Hop CAMP, which has become a popular event outside of our dance group as well.
With the talented instructor Sofka, you will explore new frontiers in costume creation and take part in various photo shoots or dance clips filming.
Our camp again this year will take place in Stupava from August 21 to 27 – come and join us. You will experience a range of dance workshops, an unforgettable atmosphere, a battle in an emptied pool, an evening dancehall - style barbecue or creative workshops where you will perfect your costume.
