František a Barbora Morongoví

Barbora and František will be happy to take you on a folk dance course through Slovakia. They will introduce you to the diversity of our beautiful culture through dance.

Barbora and František also run their own dance house and have danced together in various interesting projects.

Barborka graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts with a focus on folk dance pedagogy. She worked in dance companies like DFS Vienok, u.s. or Lučnica. You may have heard of Barbora as one of the organisers of well-known folklore festivals (Východná, Myjava...). In addition to teaching, she was also part of the expert judge panel and also took part in several scientific events. 

Like his wife, František graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He works as a performer and teacher not only in Slovakia, but also abroad. As a writer and director he took part in artistic projects such as Bratislava Music Festival, Istropolitana and others. He is also a producer and dramaturge of the programs “Tanečný dom”, “Nay tanečný dom”. He is also no stranger to cooperation with TV Markíza.
