Hustle Session

Hustle Session (open training) is a space to develop previously acquired Hustle skills, catch up and connect with the Hustle community. It is a space for inspiration, creativity and a good mood. It is intended for our students who have this class in their course, as well as for anyone who wants to dance to their heart's content.

Hustle is a social partner dance that originated in NYC clubs during the disco era of the 1970s. It was inspired by mambo/salsa and influenced over time by various other dance styles such as swing, tango, waltz, to contemporary couple or street dance styles. Hustle is danced to club music such as funk, disco, house, hip hop, RnB, but also to various other genres. It is the music that makes this dance a universal partner dance that you can enjoy together at any dance party. Hustle is a "social dance" and therefore great value is placed on working in partnership, leading and following. It is important that we all just enjoy dancing, get to know each other and have fun together.
